Governments on all levels take a long time to implement planned changes, so it is great to see that finally Stage Two of the South Terrace traffic calming in South Fremantle is continuing, and that City of Fremantle work is under way at the Jenkins Street intersection.
The colourful changes, new trees and street furniture was a positive and creative change to the Little Lefrof Lane intersection and the crossing one block down will get a similar look.
It took forever for Mainroads to agree that the entire South Terrace speed limit could be reduced to 40kmh, so good things are happening in Freo.
