Today being Sunday a lot of people go to church and and many will ' Give Thanks To God ' others will say ' Please Help My Family ' and others will ask for themselves - I will ' Glorify God ' strange two that word
I say ' Word As God Is TheWord ' in me and l can see the ' Glory of God ' in my Heart - took a long time the ' Light of the World ' had to be in me for me to see that ' Glory ' shine from other people and ' Know Them ' and each and everyday it gets bright and brighter until its almost ' Blinded by the Light ' of the Lord Thy God
Now my title was ' Can You See The Glory of God ' and of course its a ' Question ' so let me say unto you - It will not come when you ' Look ' it will not come when you ' See ' but will be like a ' Thief in the Night ' and will be there when you turnaround - thats how it began with me
As if a ' Miracle ' took place in my ' Heart ' it was in me and that ' Little Light of God ' was a small i and eventually a big l ands it grew like a little flame of ' Love in My Heart ' but knowest this it takes time not a single day but many days until ' God Is Ready ' l call this ' Inner Strength ' as it comes from our ' Weakness of the Soul ' and this strength is like the ' Holy Spirit ' rising up in You and making you know you will one day see ' The Glory of God in Your Hear '
This passage from John's Gospel is probably the best known by chapter and verse. It is posted on billboards, on signs in ball parks, but I'm not sure Jesus meant it to be a free ticket to paradise.
People forget the part about believing and what that means. It's not just lip service. As this Easter season has progressed, we keep hearing about the way to follow Jesus that witnesses to what we believe.
As Baptism isn't a one day affair, and neither is just saying that we are believers enough.
"Actions speak louder than words" is a phrase that reaches into many areas of life.
Jesus expects more of his disciples than mere words.
We are called to live our faith. That's not always easy but it's what Jesus wants.
And just as Jesus wasn't sent to judge, neither are we to judge. Our job is to spread the message of God's saving love.
If he came to save the world, then that means salvation is for all. In Isaiah, we hear, "how beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news."
It is still true that we need messengers of peace and salvation and we have so much more to proclaim than those in Isaiah's time.
We have the good news that salvation has come.
God has sent his Son so that all may be saved.
He needs you and me to bring the good news to those who may not have heard it.
LET'S US PRAY
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
