Buckingham palace has put out an edict that during the weekend's coronation ceremony as well as pledging allegiance to the King, the youth of the commonwealth will be asked to say, ''I consent'' in honour of Prince Andrew.
''Bit of a formality really, don't want any more bothersome lawsuits,'' said Royal Watcher Ian Needalife. ''Andy has had a bit of a tough run recently, poor bugger had to sell his ski chalet.''
''Hopefully, the King will find some decent lodgings for the fella.''
When asked why Prince Andrew was seemingly protected and coddled by the Royal family more so than the youth of the Commonwealth, the Royal watcher said: ''Well he's a Prince, the days of throwing them in the Tower are long gone.''
''Besides, he hasn't done too much wrong. He was merely reaching out to touch his constituents.''
''Now, if you'll excuse me, I must be off, Channel 7 want to interview me about what type of marmalade King Charles likes on his toast.''
