If you're a foodie, it's time to mark your calendar. The Swan at Ascott-under-Wychwood will welcome Giovann Attard, Executive Head Chef at The Stafford Collection's, Norma, for an exclusive garden takeover on Thursday 13th July
Ideal for a night of summer indulgence, the sunny garden terrace of The Swan at Ascott-under-Wychwood will be transformed into an Italian trullo for one night as the aromas and flavours of Sicily waft across the Cotswolds.
Guests can expect four-courses of typical Mediterranean delicacies influenced by the island's Moorish spicing - expect homemade focaccia, Scillian caponata, roasted courgette strozapretti, Ox grilled lamb chops and pistachio tiramisu to finish.
Giovann Attard originates from the Maltese island of Gozo, situated between Sicily and northern Africa, where the food is strongly influenced both by Italian cuisine and Moorish spicing.
This unique culinary heritage, combined with Giovann's culinary training and love of quality produce, is reflected in the delicious seasonal dishes that he creates as Executive Head Chef of Sicilian-inspired Norma in Fitzrovia.
