This Grenache blend from the great 2015 vintage in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is drinking very nicely now, although still young.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity. Spicy and entertaining.
Showing red cherries, currants, plums, herbs, spices, oak, light licorice, red chili pepper and earth.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
Good by itself or with food. Needs a couple of hours in a decanter to open up properly, so take your time.
