I think one of the most pure and innocent things about having a young baby is their love of food.
I forgot how beautiful this stage is. Everything is new, everything is exciting, everything is yum!
Tonight I gave baby boy a mixture of mashed pumpkin and carrot - he demolished it, ate it all! Then as we started dinner, he seemed really interested in what we were eating, so i gave him bits of broccoli, all broken up in pieces.
Some ended up in his mouth, some mushed up between his fingers, some all over his clothes and the floor! But it's a learning experience, and to know that he's having fun while experimenting with various foods, and eating them, is a joy to watch.
