How do you spell the ooh that means excitement? is it oo or ooh? Reminds me of Ooooh, you're in trouble! As in, when the grownups find out. I'm not going to worry about the spelling. Words with oo.... Moon is one of my favorites. Cows say Moo. I want to write something about not eating cows. No need for it. Hope you don't get tired of that. It's important to me, being an animal lover.
I'm writing this Friday evening as usual and might be short on time Saturday since I have to take Mama Cat to the vet for her annual exam. (Then a friend's wedding in the afternoon) We've had the formerly feral Mama Cat for three years, now. She's better (I hope) at getting into the carrier. I've been feeding her treats in the carrier for weeks in preparation for the betrayal surprise of closing the door. We shall see. She has come a long way.
Here are some recent photos of Mama Cat:

The biggest "ooh" is something I did Friday (yesterday) afternoon. It's something I've been threatening to do for several years, usually around Halloween. A couple days before that, David, Marley, and I were having lunch near the quirky hair salon where I've gotten my hair trimmed. I had the veggie burger, David had a grilled chicken sandwich, and Marley had fries. Marley was a good boy.
Anyway, my hairdresser, Emily walked by, and we made an appointment for Friday to do the thing I've been thinking about for years.
At the salon, there was a considerable amount of time waiting in between steps, so Emily and I talked about things like relationships and menopause. I also got to pet a sweet dog belonging to one of her coworkers.
I'm feeling kind of rebellious with my green highlights. Emily did a nice job on the curls, too.
The song "Ooh Child" has helped me through hard times since the 70s. I am very thankful for this song (more than words can say) and thankful that things have gotten easier in my life.
