Delacroix's subjects include street scenes of Paris and other nearby areas of France set during his childhood during the Nazi occupation.
Delacroix began his artistic career by studying at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Later, he worked in various artistic fields including graphic design before dedicating himself fully to painting.

In 1994, Delacroix was named an Official Artist of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and commissioned to celebrate the 1996 Games in an oil painting Titled "Atlanta 1886-1996."
