We currently drive a 2021 Tesla Model 3 AWD. No, we are not desperate gadget queens who have the have the latest stuff, well, yes, we are.
In fact, things have changed at work and I can now salary sacrifice my car, so off to the Tesla showroom. Going to Apple instead would have cost less, but would not have been as much fun. It wasn't that we thought the salesmen were hot either, except, they were.
We organised an 11.30am test drive and arrived early, of course.
Hot Salesman ran through the 2024 Model 3 changes which includes a redesign front and back, including lights.
It is quieter inside, and the AWD Long Range has a longer range, 620km up from 530km on our current car. So, a new car with more range will cost us $200 less a month. All good news, and it gets better.
Although the test drive was in a rear-wheel-drive base model, we experienced a much nicer ride (but not as soft as we wanted). The cabin was quieter, and we thought the roof to be much darker as well.
