Today's gratitude is a little more realisation than any one event.
But at Mini Maestros today baby boy was walking around owning the place, going up to other babies who were sitting quietly on their mat, 'borrowing' their maracas, running up to the class teacher... lol.
And he's the only one walking out of them, because I'd be confident to say he's the oldest of them all.
The others are all about crawling stage and a bit younger. This class goes up to 15 months of age for babies, so I've been thinking how if we likely continue with Mini Maestros beyond this term, he'll be moving up a level to an older class.
Then it got me thinking of other classes... the library baby storytime. Sure, it's not paid for, being a free service, but up until now we've been going to the birth to 12 month groups...
Baby boy is now over a year old! (By 11 days 😁).
He now can move up into the 1-3 year age group, and I have to say, this provides me with some relief... in all these social classes, he likes to go up to other babies and touch them or pat their head, and being amongst kids that are older, or of his own age, well, they'll all be going up to each other and patting each other's heads... right?
Like I said, some relief. 🤣
