According to media reports, several activists had intercepted Prosor at a private meeting. They allegedly accused him of having blood on his hands. In a video of the scene circulated on social media, the shout "Ron Prosor, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide" can be heard. Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner said of the incident: "I condemn the threat against Ambassador Ron Prosor. It is absolutely unacceptable for people from Israel to be personally harassed and threatened." He said he was glad that the ambassador was safe. "Berlin does not accept hatred and incitement and will take action against anti-Semitism in culture, at universities and in every other place in Berlin."
