
Ingredients

8 oz chestnuts (shells removed)
1 lb belly pork
4 garlics (sliced)
few slices ginger
1 tbsp sugar
2 stalks spring onion (sectioned)
Seasoning
2 tbsp cooking wine
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1-1/2 cup water
Method
- Par-boil pork in boiling water for 15 minutes. Take out and wash. Slice pork in thick pieces.
- Sauté chestnuts with 2 tbsp oil. Remove and drain.
- Sauté pork, garlic and ginger with 1 tbsp oil. Add seasoning and chestnuts. Bring to a boil. Stew over low heat for about 40 minutes.
- Mix in sugar, and cook for a few more minutes. Add spring onion and stir to combine before serving.
